  • We make our decisions on clothing based 93% on how it looks, 6% on how it feels to touch and surprisingly 1% on how it smells. This is often the case when looking at the fabric of clothing.
  • Over 85% of people say colour is the overriding factor that they take into consideration when looking for or choosing an item of clothing.

  • It only takes 90 seconds for a garment to make an impression on us, whether that is good or bad and it is thought that 62-90% of this reaction is based on the colours and patterns that are used in the garment.
  • The colours that we wear can affect our mood and can also affect the way in which we are perceived so it is important to be aware of this when choosing clothing for special occasions and for workwear.
